Clinical Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide ventricular medical device case support, including on-call support
• Deliver medical device education to healthcare providers in settings such as the ICU, OR, and Cath Lab
• Perform proactive patient rounds to provide assistance and improve outcomes
• Maintain clinical competency in current product lines and patient management through continual learning
• Collaborate with the Clinical Support Center (CSC) for ongoing assistance
• Travel to various hospital locations within the assigned region as needed

Requirements

• 3+ years of clinical experience in a Cardiac ICU (CICU), Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU), Cardiovascular OR (CVOR), or Cath Lab
• Significant experience with ventricular medical devices (minimum of 10 cases/patients supported)
• Availability for at least 5 days per month, including at least one weekend per month
• Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekdays as required
• Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Provider (APP) license strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Perfusionist or Cardiovascular Specialist
• Previous experience working within the medical device industry
