About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical, product, and clinical support for neurosurgery, navigation, and robotic-assisted surgery technologies during procedures.
- Coordinate and collaborate with team members for on-site installations and software/hardware upgrades.
- Maintain system hardware and software to maximize performance and perform preventative maintenance.
- Act as the primary customer liaison for repair and technical support issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel (OR, Radiology, Sterile Processing, etc.) on technical matters and technology-enabled procedures.
- Collaborate with sales representatives to identify prospective new users for navigation and robotics.
- Provide input on new product development based on field experience and maintain documentation for installations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of clinical, medical sales, or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience; OR
- Associate Degree with 4 years of clinical, medical sales, or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of clinical, medical sales, or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience.
- Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance.
- Ability to reside within the assigned territory and travel to multiple accounts throughout the region.
Preferred Qualifications
- RT and/or MRI certification.
- Prior experience with Image Guided Systems or MRI.
- Previous operating room experience.
- Prior experience with Medtronic products.
