About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical, product, and clinical support for neurosurgery, navigation, and robotic-assisted surgery technologies during procedures.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with team members for on-site installations and software/hardware upgrades.
  • Maintain system hardware and software to maximize performance and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Act as the primary customer liaison for repair and technical support issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel (OR, Radiology, Sterile Processing, etc.) on technical matters and technology-enabled procedures.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to identify prospective new users for navigation and robotics.
  • Provide input on new product development based on field experience and maintain documentation for installations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of clinical, medical sales, or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience; OR
  • Associate Degree with 4 years of clinical, medical sales, or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience; OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of clinical, medical sales, or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience.
  • Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to reside within the assigned territory and travel to multiple accounts throughout the region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • RT and/or MRI certification.
  • Prior experience with Image Guided Systems or MRI.
  • Previous operating room experience.
  • Prior experience with Medtronic products.
