Clinical Chief of Pediatric Surgery

Responsibilities

• Guarantee the quality of medical services within the units of your field of competence
• Ensure clinical activities including diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for assigned patients in collaboration with attending physicians
• Contribute to the training of resident physicians within a stimulating university environment
• Work within a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• Federal medical diploma or equivalent recognized by MEBEKO
• Cantonal practice right or ability to obtain it before starting
• Solid basic knowledge in pediatric surgery or experience in general adult surgery
• Several years of experience as an advanced resident in pediatric or general surgery, or as a clinical chief
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• French language proficiency at C1 level
• German language proficiency (C1) is an asset
