Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor - Simulation Pedagogy

Responsibilities

• Use high, medium, and low-fidelity simulation modalities to provide high-quality learning experiences to pre-licensure and advanced practice nursing students
• Develop, organize, facilitate, and evaluate simulation learning experiences and programs
• Collaborate with faculty on curriculum and course planning, improvement, and evaluation
• Develop and disseminate scholarship that advances nursing practice and education
• Engage in service activities consistent with the mission of the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing (MNSON) and the University
• Contribute to the MNSON and University goals for inclusive excellence

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in nursing or a doctoral degree in a related field with a master’s degree in nursing
• Eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Illinois
• Experience facilitating high-quality simulation scenarios
• Clinical experience as a registered professional nurse
• Potential to establish and maintain a program of scholarship consistent with the expectations of rank

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as a Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare
