About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) curriculum with an emphasis on pharmaceutical sciences
- Teach didactic courses in biomedical sciences, including anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
- Lead integrated pharmacotherapy instruction, specifically the pharmacology components
- Utilize active learning techniques and educational technology to enhance student success
- Participate in service on College and University committees as part of the annual review process
- Collaborate with practice faculty and colleagues across healthcare disciplines in an interprofessional environment
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Demonstrated understanding of pharmacy curriculum related to pharmaceutical sciences
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to various learning levels and styles
- Strong commitment to student engagement and innovative educational platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional degree in pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
- Specialized expertise in pharmacology
