Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor - Periodontics

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction for periodontic rotations and simulation lab instruction for predoctoral dental students
• Deliver clinical instruction and direct supervision of patient care for post-graduate students in the Advanced Education Program in Periodontics
• Teach didactic courses related to the periodontics curriculum
• Participate in administrative committee assignments
• Assume directorship of predoctoral courses as teaching development progresses

Requirements

• DMD/DDS degree from a US or Canadian dental school recognized by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation (or a comparable international degree)
• Completion of an Advanced Dental Education Program in Periodontics accredited by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation (or a comparable international program)
• Current, unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of Wisconsin, or eligibility for a Wisconsin dental faculty license by the time of appointment
• Current CPR certification

• Potential for conducting high-quality research
