About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic, academic, and operational leadership for the post-baccalaureate and post-master’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the DNP curriculum in alignment with AACN Essentials
  • Oversee program outcomes, including certification pass rates, graduation rates, and student satisfaction
  • Teach four to five 3-credit courses per year and chair or serve on DNP scholarly project committees
  • Mentor students in evidence-based practice projects, quality improvement initiatives, and systems-level change
  • Maintain an active program of scholarship or scholarly practice consistent with faculty rank
  • Ensure program compliance with CCNE standards and Massachusetts State Board of Nursing regulations
  • Participate in student recruitment, marketing, and orientation efforts

Requirements

  • Earned Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution
  • Current unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in graduate nursing education
  • Experience teaching in graduate nursing programs
  • Evidence of scholarship and professional engagement

Preferred Qualifications

  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Administrative experience in an academic or clinical setting
