Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing, DNP-AGACNP/CRNA

Responsibilities

• Provide graduate-level instruction to Doctor of Nursing Practice (AGACNP/CRNA) students.
• Create innovative curricula utilizing experiential pedagogies and adult learning theory.
• Develop and refine Nurse Anesthesia curriculum materials within regulatory and professional guidelines.
• Oversee off-campus clinical sites, clinical coordinators, and graduate student clinical practice experiences.
• Serve as a professional mentor to graduate students completing doctoral projects.
• Maintain compliance with COA accreditation standards and participate in program accreditation efforts.
• Engage in recruitment, selection, and enrollment of graduate students.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in nursing or a related field.
• Pre-licensure master’s or doctoral degree with a Nurse Anesthesia major from a regionally accredited institution.
• Current CRNA certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• 5+ years of clinical experience in the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) role.
• 3+ years of experience as a nurse anesthesia educator with knowledge of program administration.
• Experience with simulation in nursing or nurse anesthesia education.
• Proficiency in Canvas and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
