Clinical Assistant Professor/Director DCE of BS in Respiratory Care Program

Responsibilities

• Provide engaged instruction and develop curricula using available university resources
• Assess student learning and supervise activities in experiential learning settings
• Advise and support students while managing sensitive issues with decorum and confidentiality
• Lead the development, implementation, planning, and evaluation of the BS in Respiratory Care program
• Manage administrative duties including recruitment efforts and collaborating on new program tracks
• Represent the interests of the Henry P. Becton College of Nursing and Allied Health to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Earned master’s degree in respiratory therapy, Health Sciences, Education, or a related field
• Clinical and didactic teaching experience
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Understanding of CoARC program requirements and student evaluation requirements
• Experience in student instruction, clinical education, or mentorship
