Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor-Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program

Responsibilities

• Provide didactic and clinical teaching to resident and pre-doctoral students
• Manage patient care and supervise students in a clinical setting
• Serve on the Marquette University School of Dentistry Medical Emergency Response Team
• Participate in scholarly activities and academic service as appropriate

Requirements

• DMD/DDS degree from a US or Canadian dental school recognized by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation (or equivalent foreign degree)
• Completed advanced education program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery accredited by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation (or equivalent foreign program)
• Current, valid license to practice dentistry in the State of Wisconsin, or eligibility for a dental faculty license in Wisconsin
• Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Clinical experience in moderate sedation
• Previous clinical teaching experience
• Potential for teaching excellence and high-quality research
