Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor – Chemistry, Anatomy, and Physiology

Responsibilities

• Teach chemistry and/or anatomy and physiology in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs
• Develop and implement curricula and course planning in collaboration with faculty
• Employ diverse teaching and learning strategies across classroom, online, laboratory, and clinical settings
• Develop and disseminate scholarship that advances nursing practice and education
• Engage in service activities consistent with the mission of the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing and the University
• Contribute to institutional goals for inclusive excellence

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in a field related to primary teaching responsibilities (professional degrees are also considered)
• Teaching experience in chemistry or anatomy and physiology in both classroom and laboratory settings
• Ability to establish and maintain a program of scholarship consistent with the rank of the position

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching within a nursing program or health sciences context
• Demonstrated commitment to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in higher education
