Clinic Nurse I

Responsibilities

• Act as a Population Health nurse focusing on project improvement, metrics, and patient outcomes.
• Manage Healthy Planet tasks, including spirometry follow-ups and MMR patient outreach.
• Lead projects related to abnormal results follow-up and family engagement.
• Provide cross-coverage for medical advice calls and triage support.
• Perform direct patient care as assigned, including observing vital signs and assisting with examinations.
• Administer medications and collaborate with physicians to formulate and execute plans of care.
• Communicate changes in patient status to the multidisciplinary medical team.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Illinois.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN holders must enroll in a BSN program within 6-9 months of hire).
• Two to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in pediatric nursing.
