About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing procedures including Alcohol Breathalyzer, Urine Drug Screen, and COVID-19 testing in compliance with study protocols and GCP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of reagents and the calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Support study coordination, including the processing of biological specimens and quality control of laboratory documents.
- Manage sample shipments by scheduling couriers, ensuring adequate supplies (dry ice, coolers), and communicating with Sponsors.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the site team to ensure the integrity and safety of study participants.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a laboratory technician, equivalent experience, or medical assistant training.
- Ability to obtain vital signs and perform ECGs.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced laboratory or medical procedure training or certification.
- BLS certification.
- Experience with laboratory processing equipment and the ability to aliquot biological specimens.
