Clinic Director, Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Manage overall leadership and operation of the outpatient clinic
• Provide outstanding one-on-one patient care
• Supervise clinical and office staff
• Assess patients and develop treatment plans based on evaluation results
• Review physician referrals and medical records to determine required treatment
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
• Oversee patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Implement physical therapy treatment programs and provide essential treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies
• Ensure timely documentation including daily notes, workers' compensation reports, and discharge summaries

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited college with an APTA curriculum
• Current Indiana state license
• CPR certification
• Previous staff supervisory responsibility, preferably in outpatient orthopedics
• Exercise and manual-based skills
• Ability to market the clinic through networking and physician office visits
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
