About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for merchant inquiries via phone, email, and online chat.
  • Research and resolve client issues by navigating Merchant Services platforms and subsystems, including North, South, and TSYS applications.
  • Address merchant concerns related to interchange, chargeback compliance, billing, funding, and e-commerce products.
  • Explain BAMS systems and product reporting to merchants to resolve concerns and guide platform usage.
  • Support merchants with point-of-sale (POS) and PC equipment troubleshooting.
  • Complete routine account-related support for banking partners and investigate service requests.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a contact center, client support, or Merchant Services environment.
  • 2+ years of experience using call center policies and procedures to manage service interactions.
  • Proficiency in using computer-based systems to research account activity and document case details.
  • Ability to explain complex billing, reporting, and payment information to clients.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Merchant Services, payment processing, or acquiring clients.
  • Familiarity with TSYS, BAMS, or similar payment platform applications.
  • Experience handling interchange, chargebacks, funding, or batch reporting inquiries.
  • Experience supporting POS or PC equipment in a client-facing capacity.
