About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction, and training to Client Service Technicians, Couriers, and Client Ambassadors
- Oversee Client Service Receiving, Ambassador, and Courier functions
- Manage interviewing, hiring, and training of personnel
- Coordinate courier pick-ups and track for billing purposes
- Interface with outside shipping providers to meet client requirements
- Manage vehicle maintenance for company vehicles
- Conduct employee performance reviews and provide ongoing guidance
- Schedule personnel to ensure efficient operations
- Identify quality problems and initiate investigations and corrective actions
- Maintain Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 17025 standards
Requirements
- 4-year degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Client Service or Laboratory Operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficiency with LIMS and ASnAP systems
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle stressful conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a commercial food testing laboratory
