Client Service Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative support including logging correspondence, check deposits, and managing office supplies.
• Manage reception duties such as answering phones and greeting clients and prospects.
• Support practice management by scheduling appointments and entering client data into various applications.
• Assist advisors with meeting preparation, follow-up, and the implementation of marketing programs.
• Address client service requests and assist in establishing new clients within the Ameriprise digital experience.
• Maintain office of supervisory jurisdiction and client files while processing expense submissions.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities with minimal direction.
• Basic understanding of a financial advisor's practice.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Understanding of business basics such as profitability and negotiation.
• Ability to work directly with clients to resolve requests, informational updates, and concerns.
