Client Service Representative

About the Company

At the Veterinary Emergency Center of Redlands, we specialize in emergency and critical care for animals. We’re passionate about helping pets get back to normal as quickly and efficiently as possible. We are open 24 hours, 7 days a week to assist our clients and their pets when they need it most.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and professionally to create a welcoming atmosphere
• Schedule appointments, surgeries, and procedures
• Answer phone calls and address client inquiries regarding services and policies
• Manage client check-ins, verify patient information, and update records
• Process payments accurately and provide detailed invoices and receipts
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper records, including patient files and appointment logs
• Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and data entry
• Provide basic information about preventive care, vaccinations, and medications
• Collaborate with veterinarians and technicians to ensure smooth patient flow

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in computer software and Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational skills
• Empathy and patience when dealing with anxious or stressed clients
• Previous experience in customer service or reception (veterinary or healthcare preferred)
