Client Service Representative - Personal Lines

Responsibilities

• Support advisors in managing a personal lines book of business by providing excellent customer service
• Process premium payments and handle routine correspondence between carriers, the agency, and insured clients
• Rate policies and manage quoting, binding, and underwriting guidelines for personal insurance products
• Review new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating, coverage, and documentation
• Input customer applications into the agency management system and maintain orderly electronic files
• Interpret policy provisions to effect changes in coverage or payment methods
• Assist with underwriting audits, data entry, and the creation of client portfolios

Requirements

• Florida 4-40 or 2-20 License is required
• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in personal lines insurance
• Solid understanding of Florida Personal insurance lines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to build rapport with customers through active listening

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Applied "EPIC" Agency Management System
