Client Service Representative-Marine

Responsibilities

• Manage client service aspects of a marine book of business to drive retention
• Provide rating, marketing, and renewal support to advisors and clients
• Perform new business marketing tasks including quoting, summarizing results, and preparing proposals
• Coordinate with underwriters to negotiate coverage options and premiums
• Maintain professional relationships with carrier representatives and underwriters
• Execute service-related tasks such as issuing binders, extensions, and certificates
• Process transactions for billing invoices and premium finance contracts
• Participate in industry events, such as boat shows, to enhance client relationships

Requirements

• Florida 2-20 License is required
• Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of related insurance experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience working with multiple insurance carriers
• Ability to build rapport with customers through active listening

Preferred Qualifications

• Insurance designation such as CPCU, AAI, or CIC
• Experience with Applied "EPIC" Agency Management System
