About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between clients, laboratory management, and department personnel
- Provide quality and timely responses to internal and external client inquiries
- Communicate results, problems, and discrepancies to clients and follow through to resolution
- Track and trend client data as required
- Identify client concerns and trends to recommend improvements
- Set up new client accounts in LIMS and create sample submission documents
- Maintain records of all client communications and requirements
- Notify laboratory of special client requirements and monitor compliance
- Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 standards
Requirements
- High school Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of laboratory experience
- Proficiency with LIMS and Client Portal systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong problem-solving and prevention skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism under stressful conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a closely related field
