About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between clients, laboratory management, and department personnel
  • Provide quality and timely responses to internal and external client inquiries
  • Communicate results, problems, and discrepancies to clients and follow through to resolution
  • Track and trend client data as required
  • Identify client concerns and trends to recommend improvements
  • Set up new client accounts in LIMS and create sample submission documents
  • Maintain records of all client communications and requirements
  • Notify laboratory of special client requirements and monitor compliance
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 standards

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of laboratory experience
  • Proficiency with LIMS and Client Portal systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong problem-solving and prevention skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism under stressful conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a closely related field
