About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Regional Vice President and services leadership to drive regional security business and achieve financial goals
- Provide security thought leadership to strategic accounts to uncover and close opportunities
- Coach field teams and solutions architects to accelerate growth in the security segment
- Perform in a customer-facing security sales and presales capacity to drive account penetration
- Execute global security go-to-market strategies at a regional level
- Leverage expertise in Network Security, Cloud Security, and Managed Services to support clients
- Contribute to IP development, global strategy, and services roadmaps
- Collaborate with regional teams across cloud, data center, and networking to support a "security everywhere" approach
- Develop joint marketing plans and demand generation activities within the territory
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience selling and positioning security solutions
- Proven success selling solutions at the CXO and VP level
- Ability to discuss and support deployment in at least five domains (e.g., Network Security, Cloud Security, Endpoint Security, etc.)
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing IT solutions within the security discipline
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory and occasionally nationally
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a matrix-managed environment
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS in Business, Management, Computer Science, or Engineering
- CISSP certification or equivalent
