About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive business development and targeting efforts across various client business units and functions
  • Develop strategic and tactical revenue generation plans with a 2-3+ year time horizon
  • Build and sustain relationships with key client executives to identify new opportunities and close sales
  • Lead pursuit processes and provide client insights to inform the development of high-quality proposals
  • Collaborate with Lead Client Service Partners to monitor client business and financial plans
  • Utilize knowledge of Deloitte’s service offerings to co-develop tailored solutions for client needs

Requirements

  • Experience as a relationship or business development manager serving state and local government clients
  • At least 5 years of experience in capture and sales with a proven track record
  • Strong knowledge of professional services sales management
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to travel 10-20% on average
  • Must be based in Louisiana or willing to relocate to the state

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven work experience specifically with the State of Louisiana government
  • Existing working relationships with State of Louisiana local government leaders
