About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and execute growth strategies to increase cloud market share across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Identify new market segments, verticals, and geographies for cloud adoption
- Develop annual and quarterly plans and forecasts for the cloud business
- Coordinate with cloud vendors like AWS, Azure, and Google for promotions, rebates, and partner programs
- Align and run joint go-to-market campaigns and demand-generation activities
- Own end-to-end sales cycles for key cloud deals, including negotiating commercial terms and pricing
- Work with presales and solution architects to framework proposals, RFP responses, and PoCs
- Promote ancillary cloud services such as migrations, security, and cost optimization
- Collaborate with marketing to design demand generation campaigns, events, and webinars
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- 4–8+ years of experience in cloud sales, IT services, or business development
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales, revenue, and margin targets
- Experience working with cloud vendors such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and their partner programs
- Experience in a channel, partner sales, or distribution environment
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Postgraduate degree
- AWS, Azure, or GCP Associate or Professional certifications
- Partner or Cloud vendor program certifications
