About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain key client-side components for scalable game experiences
- Partner with server, product, and design teams to ensure technical alignment
- Apply engineering best practices including code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimization
- Troubleshoot complex issues across mobile platforms to ensure stability
- Participate in regular in-person collaboration sessions in the Shanghai office
Requirements
- Experience developing commercial games in Unity and C#
- Proficiency in one of the following: Mobile native coding (Java/Kotlin, ObjC/Swift, C/C++), Network programming, or 3D Graphics programming
- Familiarity with Git, Bash, and Gradle
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Professional proficiency in Mandarin and English
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with mobile profiling and optimization
- Experience developing productivity tools and efficient procedures
- Extensive experience playing mobile and console games
- Experience in technical leadership, mentoring, or prototyping
