Responsibilities

  • Resolve technical inquiries with customers and partners to help them achieve goals through Glia’s Digital Customer Service platform
  • Work with customers' developers, architects, and business analysts to set up complex technical integrations
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams via JIRA and Slack to report reproducible bugs
  • Conduct effective troubleshooting on bugs and defects raised via Service Desk or virtual channels
  • Guide customers on best practices and the finer points of Glia’s capabilities
  • Interact and network with Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Success to find solutions

Requirements

  • 2+ years in software development, technical support, support engineering, or related
  • Good knowledge of RESTful technology and APIs
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with cloud solutions
  • Strong customer empathy and desire to deliver delightful experiences
  • Excellent English reading, listening, and writing skills
  • Firm understanding of Web ecosystem technology stacks
  • High competency in communicating complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Troubleshooting network connectivity issues (TCP/UDP, SSL/TLS)
  • Understanding of WebRTC and other web technologies
  • Experience with communications or telecommunications technology
  • Ability to troubleshoot server-side code (C#, Java, Node.js, Ruby, or PHP)
  • Ability to troubleshoot client-side code (JavaScript, Android, iOS)
