About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational and financial health of highly visible clients
  • Act as the main point of contact and liaison between SPS and influential clients
  • Establish and maintain accountability with client leaders
  • Nurture relationships with sales and other teams to identify new business opportunities
  • Interface with SPS executive leadership on key decisions
  • Solve client, site management, and site staffer issues
  • Coach, train, and mentor subordinate leaders to ensure succession plans
  • Standardize policies, procedures, and monthly statistical reporting
  • Coordinate and oversee special projects specific to client operations
  • Manage site proformas including hours, gross margin, and profitability
  • Lead account reviews and conduct contract renewal negotiations
  • Coordinate and handle vendor negotiations

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of experience in high-level relationship building and operational management
  • Experience managing large people organizations or multiple sites
  • Proven ability to thrive in high-growth environments
  • Background in Managed Services (Vendor, Service Provider, or BPO)
  • Expertise in Mass Mail Processing, Shipping/Receiving, Document Printing/Scanning, Warehouse Management, or Records Management
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and customer metrics
  • Experience managing exempt-level direct reports
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Program or Project Management experience
  • Experience partnering with HR, Recruiting, Training, and Finance departments
  • Strong selling skills and business development acumen
