Client Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients and industry partners in Charlotte
• Conduct client meetings, local outreach, and presentations to position the firm's brand and capabilities
• Represent the firm in local and regional events, associations, and networking forums
• Develop and implement targeted business development strategies for the Charlotte metro area
• Partner with local leaders to identify, qualify, and advance project pursuits
• Conduct market research and analyze local trends to identify emerging opportunities
• Collaborate with marketing and operational teams to drive pursuit strategy and go/no-go alignment
• Monitor client feedback and relationship health to identify retention and cross-sell opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction, business, marketing, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in business development within the A/E/C industry
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
• Ability to travel as needed to support regional offices
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous leadership roles in industry professional organizations such as ULI, NAIOP, CREW, or AMFP
