Client Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support client onboarding and fulfill AML and KYC requirements to ensure compliance and risk assessment.
• Conduct thorough investigations to establish AML typologies and produce accurate reports of findings.
• Analyze transaction data to identify patterns and verify legitimacy, interacting with bankers and customers as needed.
• Address escalated service issues effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Identify opportunities to refine processes, increase operational efficiencies, and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Act independently to make strategic decisions based on data, insight, and experience.

Requirements

• Exceptional research and analytical skills, specifically for analyzing large amounts of unstructured data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and strong digital literacy.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills to resolve internal and external customer concerns.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume work schedule with a client-focused mindset.
• Proven ability to act independently and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of KYC/AML policies and experience in risk, audit, or process improvement.
• Experience with mainframe and PC-based systems, as well as digital process automation.
• Project management and process improvement experience.
• Ability to motivate and collaborate with teams using empathy and emotional intelligence.
• Resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
