Client Book Club Facilitator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the promotion and recruitment process for the newly established book club
• Facilitate book club sessions and support clients in their active participation
• Manage operational aspects including scheduling, communication, and resource coordination
• Liaise with and report to the Head of Research to ensure project objectives are met
• Communicate proactively with clients, staff, and community members

Requirements

• Previous experience working with people with disability
• Experience in group program facilitation
• Proven ability to create environments that support peer relationships and friendships
• Strong organisation, planning, and time management skills
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration platforms such as Zoom and MS Teams
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
• Valid Working with Children Check
