About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and Scottish Building Regulations
- Inspect workmanship across all disciplines and identify defects using digital quality tools
- Verify materials and support the management of Inspection & Test Plans
- Maintain accurate records including daily diaries, photographic evidence, and quality reports
- Support commissioning verification and assist with snagging during handover stages
Requirements
- Experience as a Clerk of Works, Quality Inspector, or Site Manager on large commercial or complex building projects
- Strong technical understanding of structural, façade, MEP, and fire compliance disciplines
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, technical documents, and BIM information
- Familiarity with Scottish Building Standards and UK construction regulations
- Valid CSCS card and full driving licence
Preferred Qualifications
- ICWCI membership
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
