Northern Montana Hospital (NMH) is a not-for-profit, 25-bed Critical Access Hospital dedicated to meeting the growing needs of the Hi-Line communities of Montana. We provide a comprehensive system of medical and health care services, including a 24-hour physician-staffed emergency department and state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities

• Bill primary and secondary insurances for Professional Services
• Resolve denials for Medicare and Medicaid
• Follow up on accounts when balances are in Medicare or Medicaid
• Ensure correct billing for all payers and assist with denials related to billing for all other payers

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Keyboarding minimum of 50 WPM
• Knowledge of 10 key
• Ability to comprehend, retain and apply given information

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or basic knowledge of CPT and ICD coding
• Experience in medical billing
