Clearing Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform daily clearing functions, including trade capture, lifecycle management, reconciliation, and resolving breaks across venues and products
• Facilitate smooth operations by working directly with trading teams, clearing brokers, exchanges, and internal stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows while assisting with the development of detailed procedural documentation
• Execute additional operational duties as needed to support the business and manage moment-to-moment risk

Requirements

• 2+ years of operational experience in financial services
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a STEM-related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups)
• Familiarity with post-trade lifecycles (Equities, Treasuries, Futures, FX, or Options)
• Ability to work a 4-day week schedule that includes one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Knowledge of exchange connectivity, clearing systems, and trading infrastructure
• Experience handling large data volumes accurately under time constraints
