Clearance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Assign, supervise and evaluate Clearance Administrators in the conduct of investigations
• Provide technical assistance in reviewing, interpreting, and reporting clearance results
• Maintain confidential records for all investigations performed
• Perform quality assurance reviews of investigations and database entries
• Conduct complex special investigations involving greater difficulty or hazard
• Review and issue approval or denial of clearance requests
• Collect and compile performance data and report on key performance indicators

Requirements

• Experience as an investigator evaluating character, fitness, or criminal/unlawful activities
• Working knowledge of childcare regulations
• Experience with data entry and querying large datasets
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma with 5 years of investigative experience
• Associate degree with 4 years of investigative experience
• Baccalaureate degree with 2 years of investigative experience
