About the role
Responsibilities
- Assign, supervise and evaluate Clearance Administrators in the conduct of investigations
- Provide technical assistance in reviewing, interpreting, and reporting clearance results
- Maintain confidential records for all investigations performed
- Perform quality assurance reviews of investigations and database entries
- Conduct complex special investigations involving greater difficulty or hazard
- Review and issue approval or denial of clearance requests
- Collect and compile performance data and report on key performance indicators
Requirements
- Experience as an investigator evaluating character, fitness, or criminal/unlawful activities
- Working knowledge of childcare regulations
- Experience with data entry and querying large datasets
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma with 5 years of investigative experience
- Associate degree with 4 years of investigative experience
- Baccalaureate degree with 2 years of investigative experience
