Cleans Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor wafer fabrication equipment and respond to technical issues
• Qualify new manufacturing equipment and coordinate downtime with manufacturing
• Utilize software to analyze data and identify trends for processing decisions
• Adjust equipment parameters and monitor processes following maintenance
• Execute in-line changes (CPM) to processes or equipment
• Communicate technical information through presentations and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Develop improved processes to increase capability and implement cost reduction projects

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• BS or MS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or Computer Science with a 3.0 GPA or higher
• Experience scripting in Python, VBA, or an equivalent language
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis software (e.g., Spotfire, JMP, Matlab)
• Experience troubleshooting equipment or process failures
• Ability to wear a cleanroom suit and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Ability to lift less than 35 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Change Point Management
• Understanding of Lean, TPS, or 5S principles
• Exposure to structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 7-step)
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills
