Cleaning Technician

Responsibilities

• Process engine, transmission, and sub-component parts for final cleaning
• Determine the most efficient cleaning processes based on part size, material, and condition
• Inspect parts for cracks or damages and record findings
• Track all materials according to correct work orders and log time per job
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace following 5S standards
• Perform autonomous maintenance and safety tasks according to SOPs
• Maintain assigned equipment and the cleaning building/dock area

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Vocational certificate or equivalent professional experience
• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with general machinery
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, and crouch for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of engine and/or transmission functions
• Experience using hand tools, air tools, and torque equipment
• Ability to operate shop equipment, including cranes
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Visual, or IFS
• Experience working in a Lean or VPS oriented environment
