Cleaning Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise cleaning and services of an assigned area within budget
• Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to employees
• Inspect work ongoing to ensure performance standards are met
• Assist with site training of new cleaning personnel
• Implement Health & Safety procedures and ensure PPE utilization
• Maintain timekeeping records for cleaning personnel
• Respond to customer requests and ensure follow-up
• Manage inventory control and the daily Preventative Maintenance Program

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cleaning and supervisory experience in a large facility
• Minimum 2 years of janitorial experience
• Experience working in a unionized environment and working with Collective Agreements
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
• Flexibility for weekend and statutory holiday work
• Ability to pass a clear criminal background check
• Proficiency with client management software and strong phone communication skills
