Cleaning Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise cleaning and services of an assigned area within budget
• Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to employees
• Inspect work ongoing to ensure performance standards are met
• Assist with site training of new cleaning personnel
• Implement Health & Safety procedures and ensure PPE utilization
• Maintain timekeeping records for cleaning personnel
• Respond to customer requests and ensure follow-up
• Manage inventory control

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cleaning and supervisory experience in a large facility
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
• Experience working in a unionized environment and following Collective Agreements
• Availability for flexible start/end times, including weekends and statutory holidays
• Ability to obtain a reliability security clearance
• Clear criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising Strip and wax crews
• Knowledge of preferred vendors such as Ecolab, Tennant, or Globe
