Cleaning Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning, sanitization, and sterilization of production equipment and tooling
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety regulations to prevent cross-contamination
• Safely mix and use cleaning agents and chemicals in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS)
• Visually inspect equipment for debris, residue, or damage prior to release
• Maintain clean room standards through daily, weekly, monthly, and annual cleaning routines
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all cleaning activities to ensure cGMP compliance
• Monitor and replenish clean room inventory and coordinate order requests
• Partner with Validation and Quality departments to support process documentation and logbook reconciliation

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing support or a quality-related role
• Familiarity with cleaning agents and strict safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions accurately
• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting and adapt to changing priorities
• Professional proficiency in reading and communicating standard written and oral information

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a manufacturing or industrial clean room environment
• Experience in a formal quality assurance role
• Strong time management skills and a proactive work ethic
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
