Cleaning Services

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of cleaning services including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and vacuuming floors.
• Gather and dispose of rubbish, paper, and debris, and empty refuse containers.
• Service soap and paper dispensers and other similar fixtures.
• Dust walls, desks, furniture, light fixtures, and other building accessories.
• Clean and treat carpeting and refinish or seal hardwood floors using appropriate equipment and materials.
• Report any maintenance needs, repair items, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Safely move and set up furniture and equipment as required.
• Secure assigned areas and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for students and faculty.

Requirements

• High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of cleaning and/or maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in Google or Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
• Commitment to safety standards and a quality work product.

Preferred Qualifications

• Successful completion of a professional Cleaning Services course.
• Six months of recent full-time cleaning service experience.
