Cleaning, Catering and Orderly - Healthcare

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning services to hospital departments, wards, and public areas, including safe handling of chemicals and decontamination of surfaces
• Prepare and present patient meals, such as salads and sandwiches, while maintaining high food safety standards and sanitizing equipment
• Perform patient movement and coordination, including transporting patients and medical equipment across hospital sites
• Assist with the collection and delivery of medical records and documentation
• Adhere to all infection prevention protocols, manual handling procedures, and WHS practices

Requirements

• Evidence of immunisation (including Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diphtheria, Hep B, and Polio)
• Current Police Clearance (no older than 12 months)
• Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Flexibility to work a rotational roster, including early mornings, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
