Cleaner/Porter

Responsibilities

• Maintain floors, washrooms, and garbage bins
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, common areas, and entrances
• Replenish supplies such as toilet rolls, hand towels, and soap
• Dust visible surfaces including countertops, pillars, lighting fixtures, and vents
• Spot clean lobby floors and vacuum entrance mats
• Perform turnover of student rooms

Requirements

• Ability to operate cleaning equipment like auto scrubbers and burnishers
• Floor care experience (scrubbing, buffing, polishing) is an asset
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and carry up to 50 lbs for extended periods
• WHMIS certification (training can be supplied)
• Ability to pass a clear criminal background check
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team
