Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors across classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal spaces
• Clean and disinfect washrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors, and refill supplies
• Dust surfaces and high-touch points such as door handles, light switches, and desks
• Empty waste bins and ensure proper disposal of waste
• Respond promptly to spills and assist with deep cleaning tasks when required

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school, office, or commercial building
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations and the safe use of cleaning equipment
• Understanding of health and safety requirements
• Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules and procedures
• Reliability and strong organizational skills
