Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties across multiple small sites, including surfaces, floor areas, bathrooms, and waste disposal
• Work in line with COSHH regulations, following colour coding rules and wearing appropriate PPE
• Replenish consumables such as hand wash, toilet rolls, hand towels, and waste bags
• Empty and dispose of waste correctly according to company rules and maintain waste receptacles
• Report any pest issues immediately to a Kier supervisor or senior staff member

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school, office, restaurant, construction site, or commercial building
• Solid understanding of health and safety at work legislation, specifically COSHH
• Knowledge of how to use cleaning machinery
• Ability to prioritise high-risk cleaning areas and coordinate tasks effectively
• Collaborative attitude with the ability to build effective relationships with teams and stakeholders
