About the role
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all areas including classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal spaces to a high standard
- Vacuum carpeted areas and wet mop hard floors to ensure surfaces are spotless
- Empty bins, replenish consumables such as hand soap and towels, and manage waste disposal correctly
- Follow COSHH guidelines and health and safety procedures, using appropriate PPE and colour-coded equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns promptly to your supervisor
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a school, office, or commercial environment
- Understanding of health and safety practices, including COSHH regulations and the safe use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently while being a supportive team member
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Reliability and ability to follow cleaning schedules
