Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas including classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal spaces to a high standard
• Vacuum carpeted areas and wet mop hard floors to ensure surfaces are spotless
• Empty bins, replenish consumables such as hand soap and towels, and manage waste disposal correctly
• Follow COSHH guidelines and health and safety procedures, using appropriate PPE and colour-coded equipment
• Report any maintenance issues or concerns promptly to your supervisor

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a school, office, or commercial environment
• Understanding of health and safety practices, including COSHH regulations and the safe use of cleaning equipment
• Ability to work independently while being a supportive team member
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
• Reliability and ability to follow cleaning schedules
