About the role
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain floors, washrooms, kitchens, gym, and garbage bins
- Sanitize offices, showers, common areas, and rest areas
- Replenish supplies such as toilet rolls, hand towels, and soap
- Dust visible surfaces including counters, pillars, and vents
- Clean and polish metal surfaces and elevators
- Perform spot cleaning and deep washing of lobby floors
- Vacuum entrance mats
- Perform floor stripping and waxing
Requirements
- Minimum 8 months of cleaning experience
- Proven experience in floor stripping and waxing
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Government security Enhanced Top Secret (Level II) clearance
- Minimum 10 years of continuous residency in Canada
- Eligibility to work in a Federal Government Facility
- Proficiency with various cleaning products and equipment
