About the role
Responsibilities
- Clean common areas and washrooms
- Collect and transport garbage
- Sweep, mop floors, and vacuum carpets
- Perform high dusting in common areas
- Clean glass surfaces
- Secure and maintain tools and equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- At least one year of cleaning experience
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS
- Ability to communicate with supervisors, clients, and the public
- Ability to work various shifts including days, afternoons, and nights on short notice
- Clear criminal background check
