Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Litter pick-up around the building exterior
• Empty and spot-clean all waste receptacles
• Wipe down and disinfect light switches and door handles
• Clean entrance glass doors and remove smudges
• Polish kick plates, push plates, and thresholds
• Vacuum all carpeted areas and walk-off mats
• Wipe clean tables and chairs
• Replace garbage bags and dispose of waste/recyclables
• Maintain and restock the janitor’s room
• Report plumbing issues to the manager
• Order new cleaning supplies when necessary
• Operate gas-powered leaf blower and power washing machine for exterior maintenance

Requirements

• Experience operating a gas leaf blower or willingness to learn
• Prior cleaning experience is an asset
• Reliable with strong time management skills
• Good communicator with effective verbal and written English
• Self-motivated and able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of cleaning experience
