Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and countertops
• Disinfect kitchen areas, including countertops, appliances, and sinks
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to established procedures
• Clean and polish mirrors, glass surfaces, and windows
• Replenish cleaning supplies and notify supervisors of shortages or equipment malfunctions
• Follow established cleaning schedules and report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly

Requirements

• Some high school education required (High school diploma or GED preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with diverse groups
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical computations
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high hygiene standards
• Physical stamina and strength to perform repetitive tasks and lift or move heavy objects
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial work
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment
