Classroom Teacher

Responsibilities

• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning that supports the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
• Implement lesson plans that fulfill district curriculum requirements and accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Present subject matter in accordance with Texas Education Agency guidelines, board policies, and administrative regulations.
• Analyze student performance data to provide targeted instruction based on individual needs.
• Manage student behavior in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct and campus rules.
• Maintain accurate and complete student records, including attendance and progress reports.
• Use technology to strengthen the teaching and learning process in both traditional and distance learning environments.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with students, parents, colleagues, and community members.
• Participate in staff development, faculty meetings, and school committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for the assigned subject and level.
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
• Ability to manage student behavior in both traditional classroom and distance learning environments.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
